Vegan Sausage Rolls

My Vegan Sausage Rolls are super simple to prepare and make the perfect appetiser for family get togethers.

Ingredients

  • 3 vegan filo pastry sheets

  • 300g tempeh

  • 2 cups mushrooms

  • 1 onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 handful fresh parsley

  • 1 tbs fresh chives

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Plant milk

  • Sesame seeds

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.

In a food processor, combine all the ingredients except the pastry sheets. Blend until smooth with a few chunky bits.

Place a pastry sheet on a cutting board and slice in half. Fill each half of the sheets with filling down the middle. Wet the edge of the sheet with a bit of water or plant milk and roll the sheets closed. Repeat with each sheet.

Brush the sheets with unsweetened plant milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
