Eat These 9 Foods To Help Boost Fat Loss
With fat loss being one of the most common complaints I see, I’ve compiled a list of foods that have been clinically shown to accelerate fat loss when accompanied by a healthy diet and lifestyle. Try adding one or two of these foods to your daily diet.
Tomatoes
Have been found to increase resting metabolic rate by 150 calories and reduce weight, body fat and waist circumference.
Apples
Rich in polyphenols, which modulate pathways involved in adiposity, obesity and metabolism, resulting in decreased fat and increased energy expenditure.
Dried Ginger
Shogoals in dried ginger have been found to increase metabolic rate and activate brown fat when consumed in the morning.
Green Tea
Studies show 10% more calories are burned within an hour of drinking a cup of tea.
Cayenne Pepper
Similarly to ginger, capsaicin in chili binds to thermoreceptors that lead to brown fat activation.
Goji Berries
Attributed to its anti-inflammatory effects, 14g/day were found to reduce waist circumference by 2.5 inches in 45 days.
Ground Flaxseeds
Other than their appetite suppressing effects, ground flaxseeds have been found to significantly reduce body weight, BMI and waist circumference.
Vinegar
Boosts AMPK activation, resulting in visceral fat loss.
Nutritional Yeast
