Vegan Brownies

These brownies are the perfect blend of fluffy and chewy & are sure to be the most decadent vegan brownies you will ever make. 

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup wholewheat flour

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 1 tbs maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup choc chips

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Mix through the coconut yogurt, milk and maple syrup.

Seperate the choc chips into two equal portions. Melt one of the portions and stir into the batter. Fold in the remainder of choc chips.

Line a square baking tin and pour the mixture in. Bake for 30 mins or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean.

Allow to cool before serving.

Optional chocolate sauce: To a small bowl add 1 tbs cacao powder and 1 tbs maple syrup and mix well with a fork. Slowly mix in hot water until desired consistency forms. Pour over brownies & enjoy.
