Pesto Hummus
A flavourful combination of two of my favourite condiments. My vegan Pesto Hummus tastes tangy and earthy and is packed full of gut-loving fibre.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1 cup fresh basil
1 tbs pine nuts
1 1/2 tbs nutritional yeast
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tbs tahini
Juice of half a lemon
1 1/2 cup filtered water
Salt, if desired
Throw all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend while slowly pouring in the water until a thick and smooth consistency is achieved.
Eat with crackers and veggie sticks or add to your favourite nourish bowls.
