Chunky Choc-Chip Cookies

Thick and hearty choc-chips cookies that are toasty and golden on the outside and moist and chocolatey on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil

  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, sugar and oil.

Mix through the vanilla extract and slowly pour in the milk until a dough forms. If the mixture is too crumbly, add a bit more milk. Fold in the choc-chips.

In the palm of your hands, form the dough into small balls and slightly flatten.

Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12mins or until golden brown.

The cookies will come out soft but will harden as they cool.

Allow to cool and then enjoy!
