Choc Hazelnut Pods
These Choc-Hazelnut Pods are a serious crowd pleaser and taste oh sooo good. I recommend making a batch at the start of the week to keep a healthy treat on hand every time you catch yourself reaching for something a little …too… indulgent.
Ingredients
3/4 cup oats, ground
1/4 cup hazelnuts
2 tbs cacao powder
1 cup dry dates, soaked
1 tbs maple syrup
Pana hazelnut chocolate spread or runny nut butter
Method
Add the oats, hazelnuts and cacao powder to a blender and pulse until well combined. Add the dates and maple syrup and blend until the mixture forms together when pressed between your fingers.
Form the mixture into bite-sized balls. With the tip of your finger press a hole into the middle of each ball and scoop about 1/4 tsp of the spread or butter inside.
Place in the refrigerator and consume within a week.
